About Paphos Notary
Clear guidance for Cyprus document routes
Paphos Notary helps individuals, families and businesses identify the correct Cyprus procedure before documents are signed, certified, translated or sent abroad. We review the document type, destination and receiving authority, then coordinate the appropriate authorised person or public authority.
Cyprus does not have a general civil-law notary institution. Official acts are performed by different competent persons and authorities. Our role is to clarify the route and coordinate next steps; only the competent person or authority performs the official act.

Practice Areas
Focus Areas
and Expertise
Signature certification coordination
We review destination requirements and coordinate an appointment with an appointed Certifying Officer; the officer certifies a signature or seal, not the document contents.
Apostille & legalisation review
We identify the competent Cyprus authority and the Hague or non-Hague route that may apply, including District Administration, Cyprus MFA and embassy steps where required.
Affidavits, oaths & certified copies
We prepare and route appointments with a person authorised under the Oaths Law, and identify when a public record must come from its issuing authority.
Sworn translation coordination
We coordinate with a registered Cyprus Sworn Translator after confirming the correct source-document route.
